We offer black or white horses, depending on your family's wishes. Every detail of the turnout is agreed in advance. We arrive early, we leave nothing to chance, and we bring absolute respect to every job we take.
When you are making arrangements at a very difficult time, the last thing you need is to manage logistics. We handle our part quietly and completely.

Families ask us this first, and they should not have to ring up to find out. A horse-drawn hearse from us starts at £900. What you pay depends on the distance, the time the day takes and whether you want a pair or a team, and we will give you a firm figure before you commit to anything.

Coverage
Grantham, Newark, Sleaford, Bingham, Melton Mowbray, Lincoln, Nottingham and Mansfield are all inside our standard area, with no travel supplement anywhere in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire or Rutland. Please enquire for other counties.

Working with your family and your director
We provide a horse-drawn hearse independently or directly through your funeral director. If you have already engaged a funeral director, simply let them know you would like to use DK Carriage Horses and we will take care of the rest.
If a funeral director is already handling the arrangements, they can book us on your behalf and it will appear on their invoice. The cost is the same either way.
We are experienced working alongside funeral directors across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Call us or ask your director to contact us directly: simply give them our number and we will take it from there.
